Updated 3/14/2020 Things to think critically about concerning Covid-19 (Coronovirus). YES, I’m Looking At You America. We Are Failing Preparations For This. I am going to ask you to bear with me as I’ve been reading way too much about this (as a form of distraction from flashbacks mostly, but it’s helping me collate thoughts… Continue reading Concerning Covid-19 and Mutual Aid

Open the door, step inside. Here you find a forest, teeming with animals and birds, which sweeps up the sides of snow-capped mountains. Here in the small pocket of beauty, one finds the essence of my soul.
A writer at heart, I delve deep into the finer details of humanity's spirit, and seek to share with others what gems I uncover. I find life exciting and full of interesting surprises, and despite the great pain that often confronts me, I persevere with the joy in my heart still bubbling, and the light of my soul still aflame.
There is a time and a place to introspect one's self, but often enough it is best to not look back in regret, but leap forward in the present toward the achievement of one's deepest dreams.
I am a wanderer. An explorer. One place cannot contain me for long, but to my friends and family, I remain loyal, for love is not bound by time nor place. Once cultivated and nourished continuously, it binds people together on a journey through the unknown reaches of life.
Replace harmful theology with liberation
A portion of American Christianity is: Capitalism Nationalism White supremacy Worshiping wealth (prosperity doctrine) Imperialism/colonialism This is why many evangelicals for Trump view Trump as a savior or “blessed by God.” They don’t actually worship Jesus, and instead worship the above five as “god,” so Trump who embodies all five, is seen as “blessed” and… Continue reading Replace harmful theology with liberation

Poetry: Birth
Birth by Aidan Zingler (fractal also by me) Scattered enriched guts splattered across the skies, Bubbling froth, seething energy permeating space-time Wisp of a second, our existence overlooked by the brilliant magnitude of a 13.7 billion year old. Intrepid explorers, we stumble into the black vastness of a giant, violent ocean — star-birthing hurricanes, with… Continue reading Poetry: Birth
Power disparities from Unexamined Privilege
As an Intro: I feel folks need a reminder. Cisgender allies — talk to your peeps about this. Do The Work of allyship. I really want to see communities live out their claims of allyship and “welcoming to trans folks” by listening to us (this essay has good action items). I’m sure us trans folks… Continue reading Power disparities from Unexamined Privilege
2019 in Review: BOOKS
I don’t have energy to write about my decade. That’s intense, and I recommend just exploring Reshapingreality.org. Happy New Year, and Happy New Decade! Let’s talk about the books I read in 2019, and my goal for reading in 2020. 38 books in total. (Edit: There may be some eBooks I read and forgot about… Continue reading 2019 in Review: BOOKS
Crosspost from Patreon: Examining Whiteness
Crossposted from my patreon: https://www.patreon.com/posts/examining-32183696 Examining Whiteness Our culture is saturated with whiteness; whiteness and its performative values are socialized within all of us from a young age. Those who are not white are socialized to react to whiteness in specific ways, and those who are white (or white-passing) are socialized to perform whiteness without… Continue reading Crosspost from Patreon: Examining Whiteness
Trauma, Boundaries, and Healing
I wrote this on Facebook but wanted to share here too. Fractal was created by me, and I named it “Opening up.” Opening up to Healing We are enough. Despite our trauma, no matter our trauma, we are always enough. These are reminders for myself, but maybe they will help some of you too. I… Continue reading Trauma, Boundaries, and Healing
Crosspost: Trans Day of Remembrance
Transgender Day of Remembrance was November 20, and honors all the trans people who died by murder this year — not just in America but other countries as well (the ones we can at least find information). In the past, the events would have some spoken words and then a reading of the names. It… Continue reading Crosspost: Trans Day of Remembrance
