Update and Cats

I’m working on two posts. One will dig deeper into pronoun etiquette and include pronunciation guide as well as links for further research. Another will dig deeper into the Elivera Trade Language and provide a pronunciation guide and a history of the language. It is taking me a bit of time to write these as I want to do more research to properly link all the resources I hope to include for the pronoun etiquette (and to record myself pronouncing the pronouns), but I will hopefully have the Elivera Lore post up soon!

My health is still precarious at times since I had surgery at the end of May, so I’m still recovering from that, which is one of the main reasons I take a few weeks to write a post. I also have a full time job that eats up a lot of my energy, so most of my writing is filtered in the cracks between breaks, or late in the evenings, or on a weekend when my health is strong enough to dedicate the time to writing.

In the meantime, here are some lovely pictures of my cat, who wishes to inspire all of you with his beauty:

Picture of a lilac-point persian cat named Sgt. Quark Amaya McFluffers. He has fluffy, long white fur that turns to gray at his paws and ears and face. His head is turned upward in a traditional "I'm so beautiful" pose.
Sgt. Quark Amaya McFluffers: “Look at me. I’m so beautiful.”

Sgt. Quark Amaya McFluffers, “What are you looking at? I’m trying to lounge here.”

Open the door, step inside. Here you find a forest, teeming with animals and birds, which sweeps up the sides of snow-capped mountains. Here in the small pocket of beauty, one finds the essence of my soul. A writer at heart, I delve deep into the finer details of humanity's spirit, and seek to share with others what gems I uncover. I find life exciting and full of interesting surprises, and despite the great pain that often confronts me, I persevere with the joy in my heart still bubbling, and the light of my soul still aflame. There is a time and a place to introspect one's self, but often enough it is best to not look back in regret, but leap forward in the present toward the achievement of one's deepest dreams. I am a wanderer. An explorer. One place cannot contain me for long, but to my friends and family, I remain loyal, for love is not bound by time nor place. Once cultivated and nourished continuously, it binds people together on a journey through the unknown reaches of life.
